Plakat GREEN SNAKE 30×40

Slowly slinking its way up this playful scene, Green Snake by English artist Imogen Crossland features hand-cut forms inspired by the French artist Henri Matisse. The snakes angular shape is softened by shades of green and a wiggly tongue, completed by a group of playful motifs all over its body, including stars, clouds, raindrops and explosions.

Thin brown line work painted atop a linen fabric backing creates the composition of Antic Ideal 01 by the Marseille based artist Avrandinis. The forms of abstracted vases and female figures intertwine and overlap, creating a rich yet simple series of lines. Graphically strong, yet soft in expression, the work allows space for ideas to grow within forms that are completed by natural pigments and textures.

Kyrr Vase II by Icelandic designer and artist Kristín Sigurðardóttir is a combination of simple forms and playful patterns. A vase is created by two rounded shapes stacked on top of one another. Mixing digital techniques with traditional methods of painting, the composition provides a new take on still life compositions. The vases playful black and white pattern pops against a neutral backdrop of both solid and patterned surfaces.

Antic Ideal 02 by French artist Avrandinis features abstracted still life motifs portrayed through thin white lines against a deep brown backdrop.
