Kähler Gingerbread is a modern gingerbread house from Kähler, where the combination of a charming expression and handmade design traditions meets the warmth of the tealights creating both style and cosiness on the dark December evenings. The gingerbread house is a real Christmas cake classic that comes in different versions in many countries. If you have once tried to embark on the art of cake making yourself, you will know that it is not quite that easy – but with Kähler Gingerbread you are sure of being a success and to top it all off, featuring extra Christmas spirit in your home with the light flowing out of the hand-carved windows of the lighthouse. The lighthouses come in two varieties and have a brown, matte exterior similar to gingerbread dough. They are decorated with white, shiny decorations and have white roofs like glaze. As an important detail, the gingerbread houses are white glazed inside reflecting the warm light from the tealight to illuminate the surroundings outside the house.

The Storehouse is a traditional farm building from Norway, which is used for storing food and is often built so that food is protected from unwanted animals.The Storehouse is a recognizable building, often on poles with thatched roofs. The buildings has excisted for hundreds of years. The small hand-carved windows scatter unique silhouettes and alluring shadows. Kähler Gingerbread is a series of handmade gingerbread houses, where Kähler’s ceramic origins and the traditional Danish Christmas have been put into a common design formula. With a height of 17 cm, this gingerbread house exudes Christmas, charm and traditions and is the largest of the gingerbread houses. The front of the house is covered with a fine timber-framed pattern, a round and beautifully decorated window and a large gate that invites you indoors for plenty of authentic warmth and cosiness. The sides of the lighthouse are decorated with large white hearts to symbolise the season of goodwill. Create a cosy Christmas landscape by placing little elves around the houses, or use the houses individually as handmade design elements. The shiny and tactile glaze and rustic, unglazed ceramic, will look beautiful on display and spread plenty of Christmas cheer. The Gingerbread lighthouses have a brown, matt exterior, reminiscent of gingerbread dough, and are decorated with white, shiny decorations and white roofs that look like icing. An important detail is that the gingerbread houses are glazed white on the inside to reflect the warm glow from the tealights. All sizes are carved by hand, and the light from the houses thus creates playful clusters of light and shadow wherever you place them.

Kertahús URBANIA TIVOLI NIMB

Nimb opened in 1909 with a Bazaar with exhibitions of, among other things, handicrafts, and with a popular eatery. The ornate expression is clearly inspired by Moorish style in the form of beautiful vaults, the small spiers and the characteristic dome. The small hand-carved windows scatter unique silhouettes and alluring shadows. The fine white glazed porcelain is illuminated, as a poetic image of a unique moment.
