This rug is very durable and fits perfect in the kitchen, bathroom, childrens room, in the hallway or on the terrass. And on top of that it is allergy friendly, reversible, soft for your feet and easy to clean.

Care instructions: Hand or machine wash in 30°C (no cycle or tumble dry). Shape when wet and hang dry. Carefully rinse spill. Don’t rub. Be careful with the endings. The rug may shrink 2-4% after washing.

Made in Sweden. Some parts of the production are still made by hand and dimensions may vary slightly.

Motta YIELD MELANGE NATURALLY 180×240

Yield Melange features a naturally coloured warp and a two-coloured weft, hand-plied and twisted during the weaving process to create a vibrant all-over mélange surface. Just like Yield, Yield Melange can be ordered in rectangular, round, and irregular shapes, with round and irregular shapes featuring two-coloured binding on all edges.

The wool used in the warp includes a blend of different hues, coming from the natural variations of the sheep themselves. These are complemented by a range of natural and dyed shades in the weft. The combination of robust, sturdy woollen fibres and a durable construction ensures the rugs’ longevity.

For rectangular rugs, the short edges can be finished with an option of 3cm-long fringes, or with a two-coloured hand binding that matches the colour of the rug. The selvedges feature a loom binding.

A bold design in a twill construction using felted mill spun yarns for both weft and warp, Dashes is a flat woven rug that takes the classic two coloured pied de poule and abstracts it into a multicoloured polydimensional graphic.

The warp is built out of yarns in six different colours, a plain colour used in alternation with a colourfull multicoloured stripe. The weft sees a slightly thicker yarn used, with two contrasting neutral colours interchanged. On the top of each rug the dark colour builds the rip of the twill and on the lower part the rip is woven in a lighter colour. The locking yarn corresponds to the rip of the twill.

A design that combines well with all natural flooring materials such as oak, slate, concrete, and terrazzo, Dashes is suitable for medium to heavy residential and commercial use.

Jute and Wool – a new material composition in our rug collection – is a rug that has been designed and crafted to be responsible in the use of resources.

Jute is a plant-based material that has been chosen for its strength as well as its environmentally-friendly credentials. It is locally sourced in India, where it is cultivated, manufactured and spun before being woven by hand.

As the jute and a part of the wool is left undyed, less dyestuff, water and energy are used.

Guided by the idea that contrast can and should be complimentary, Duotone’s elegance derives from its apparent simplicity. Using only two colours – one for the weft and one for the warp – shades which might otherwise be in opposition, are combined with varied densities of yarn to create a unique identity.

Duotone’s soft yet distinctive palette has received a recolour that lends new depth to colour pairings ranging from sulphate blue to coral. Its signature muted irregularity is paired with what Hella Jongerius describes as “the most simple flat-woven basket construction; the archetype of weaving” — a nod to Hallingdal, Kvadrat’s iconic basketwoven textile.

Combining quiet intricacies of colour and texture, Duotone offers a powerful statement that never overpowers.

Yield Dot adds a unique twist and shares the same two-coloured body construction as Yield but incorporates a third coloured yarn interwoven using the Lancé technique. This distinctive technique results in small, visible dots on the front side of the rug, while longer flotations are observed on the backside. With consistent spacing, the quantity of dots varies depending on the rug’s size. In Yield Dot, all colourways exclusively feature naturally coloured wool in both the warp and weft.
