The Tuttu cosmetic bag features the Raide pattern. The cosmetic bag has a handle on the lid and a zipper closure. The handle has embroidered Marimekko logotext. It is lined on the inside and there are elastic bands to hold brushes in place.

The cosmetic bag is made of 100% recycled polyester.

Stripes have always been an integral part of the world of Marimekko patterns. The vivid freehand Raide (railroad track) is one of the innumerable Marimekko stripes created by Annika Rimala.

Vörulínan BAÐ er afrakstur samstarfs fjögurra íslenskra hönnuða fyrir Epal og gengur út á þróun á sígildum og fáguðum vörum sem hafa tengingu við íslenska baðmenningu s.s. sundlaugar, baðlón, heilsulindir, náttúrulaugar o.s.frv. Hönnuðirnir sem um ræðir eru: Ingibjörg Hanna Bjarnadóttir fyrir vörumerkið IHANNA HOME, Margrét Jónsdóttir, Unnur Valdís Kristjámsdóttir fyrir vörumerkið Flothettu og Sóley Elíasdóttir fyrir vörumerkið SÓLEY. Um er að ræða vörulínu með sterkum íslenskum undirtón þar sem vörur blandast saman í eina heild með það að markmiði að notandinn upplifi baðmenninguna og vellíðan sem henni fylgir. Nær helmingur línunnar er framleiddur á Íslandi. Vörulínan fékk heitið BAÐ og stendur fyrir okkar einstaka sund og bað kúltúr. Vörulínan samanstendur af 24 vörunúmerum. Nytjahlutir ss. handklæði, krúsir og glös, sundtaska, sápur, ilmir o.m.fl.

The large Vilja cosmetic bag is made of heavyweight cotton and it is decorated with the Räsymatto pattern, which is printed in Helsinki. The bag has a zipper closure, dirt repellent on the fabric and a nylon lining. There are two pockets and places for brushes inside.

The roomy Vilja cosmetic bag is made of an unbleached cotton and linen blend with a stain-repellent finish on the outside. The bag has a zipper closure as well as a nylon lining, two large pockets, and places for brushes on the inside. The dark blue Mini Unikko (poppy) pattern is printed in Helsinki.

Unikko (poppy), symbolizing creativity, was born in a time when hardly any floral designs were included in Marimekko’s collections. Maija Isola, however, was fascinated by the theme of flowers and decided to create an entire range of novel floral prints.

Our cosmetic bags are sewn using the whole width of the fabric, and therefore their appearance may vary slightly. Each item is unique. This product is made of 100% recycled polyester.

We are on a mission to increase the share of long-lasting and sustainable materials in our products and constantly test and develop new, lower-impact practices in our production process.

The Tiiliskivi (brick) pattern was designed by Marimekko’s founder Armi Ratia. The pattern reflects her belief in the simple beauty of everyday life.
