Inspired by Denmark’s morning light, the 7:14 AM colours capture
the serene beauty of early autumn skies on Arne Jacobsen’s
iconic Series 7 chair. Featuring five soft hues – Green, Beige,
Pink, Violet, and Blue – paired with a Rainbow base, these ethereal
wash-tones evoke the colours of a dawn sky.
Designed to harmonise with both the existing Fritz Hansen colour
range and each other, the 7:14 AM shades bring a clean, nuanced
transformation to any space. Subtle yet evocative, these colours
complement a wide range of interior styles, enhancing them with
a touch of Nordic light.

The Rainbow base is crafted from semi-recycled steel, seamlessly
welded and coated with a zinc chromate finish. This process
creates a transparent golden rainbow effect, exceptionally durable,
that develops a unique patina over time, deepening the iridescent
colours. The transparent finish allows the pure steel structure
to shine through, revealing the natural hairlines created during
manufacturing, which are subtly visible through the iridescent tint.
The result is a delicate, flecked appearance when viewed up close.

The Ant chair’s visual expression is delicate and artful, much like the curves of a musical instrument. Designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1952, the chair is made from nine layers of pressure moulded veneer. Its elegant shape disguises its remarkable strength and comfort.
The 3101 model retains the sculptural simplicity of the original three-legged Ant design while expanding its distinct, expressive profile to suit a myriad of interior settings. Although the four-legged version of the Ant chair was occasionally produced during Jacobsen’s lifetime, it was only put into official production in 1971.

Original patterns designed by Arne Jacobsen weave together past, present and future and decorate these special Fritz Hansen cushions.
The pattern Trapez is originally designed by Arne Jacobsen and both are characterised by the Danish architect and designer’s minimalistic expression. The Trapez cushion comes in the intense dark blue colour Midnight blue. The colour makes the pattern and its shadows come to life in a playful, beautiful and understated manner. The cushion is knitted in wool and filled with FossFlakes.

The Series 7 chair is an icon in modern furniture history, designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1955. Its unique shape is timeless and incredibly versatile, displaying character without overpowering the eye. The chair is made from 9 layers of pressure moulded veneer for strength, flexibility and durability despite its slender form. This is the most popular design within Fritz Hansen’s chair collection.
The seat cushion comes in leather and fits the Arne Jacobsens original Series 7 chair perfectly.
