Model 101, also known as the “Lantern,” is one of our most iconic pendant lamps. Designed in 1944, the lamp beautifully represents the distinctive combination of design, technique, and craftsmanship that has defined LE KLINT for generations.

The highly detailed, hand-folded shade gives the lamp a lively, almost sculptural expression that changes character depending on the light and its surroundings. The pendant’s closed form effectively shields the light source, making Model 101 particularly suitable for suspension in rooms with high ceilings, where it can be appreciated both from a distance and up close.

The lamp’s original suspension, designed by Kaare Klint, is always included with the purchase of Model 101. An anniversary suspension in brass is also available as an optional add-on.
