The design of the Kubus bowl is based on the original sketches by Mogens Lassen. The round bowl with a square base shows the classic geometric elements we know from the Bauhaus school. In fact, the Bauhaus was also the main source of inspiration for the Danish architect and designer. Mogens Lassen’s work was also influenced by the Bauhaus maxim that wanted the project to be accessible to everyone. The Kubus bowl is produced in Denmark with an emphasis on high quality and solid handicraft. The bowl is a natural and logical further development of the iconic Kubus candlestick, which was designed by Mogens Lassen in 1962 and which perfectly represents its contemporary functional style. The Kubus bowl can be used all year round and is suitable as a bowl for fruit, snacks and even plants, as well as for storing and storing personal belongings.
