Lýsing
This book is a celebration of 20th-century Nordic design, art and homes, with timeless character and charm.
Step inside 12 iconic, one-of-a-kind atelier homes once inhabited by some of the most renowned Nordic architects, designers and artists – among them Finn Juhl, Bruno Mathsson, Tove Jansson and Gunnar Asplund, to name just a few. More than places to live, these homes, summer villas and studios served as personal test labs, where bold ideas and pioneering design came to life.
Join journalist and non-fiction author Anna-Kaisa Huusko and photographer Niclas Mäkelä on a journey through Sweden, Finland and Denmark into artist homes, summer retreats and atelier spaces where creativity, craftsmanship and a distinctive vision have been free to flourish.
