An ode to porridge in all its forms – and to the simple joy of food!
Curious to discover new flavours, or already head over heels for all things oats? With a sprinkle of presence, a dash of kindness and a cosy setting, even the simplest bowl can turn into a moment to remember. Bowls of Delight – Recipes for Porridge and Overnight Oats adds a gentle glow to any occasion, whether it’s an ordinary Tuesday morning or an unhurried weekend brunch shared with friends.
Inside, you’ll find more than 50 recipes, along with tender reflections that celebrate a joyful, relaxed way of eating. The recipes range from sweet to savoury, featuring traditional stove-top favourites, overnight oats and oven-baked creations to suit every season and mood. There are festive twists too: lingonberry and glögg bring a taste of the holidays, while meringue and strawberries whisk in a midsummer feeling. Each spoonful tells its own story – the bright zing of mandarin overnight oats, the sumptuous crunch of chocolate oats, the comforting depth of baked feta porridge with tomato and basil, or the warmly spiced scent of carrot cake porridge.
